Transvulcania adidas TERREX unveils its fifteenth anniversary runner’s box

What was undoubtedly one of the biggest unknowns for the participants of this edition has been revealed.

The Transvulcania adidas TERREX is getting closer and proof of this is that the main novelties of the event on its fifteenth anniversary are already being revealed. Today has been revealed one of the biggest unknowns that the participants had until now, which is the content of the runner’s box, in which once again the international brand adidasTERREX will be the protagonist.

This type of action demonstrates the value that both Transvulcania and adidas TERREX want to offer to the participants, who will receive new products recently launched on the market and, on this occasion, framed in a commemorative edition of the fifteenth anniversary of the race.

For this edition, the runner’s box is made up of a TERREX Multi Climacool T-shirt, a TERREX Multi Climacool long sleeve with hood and a TERREX Climacool Graphic technical cap, all of them special edition for the fifteenth anniversary of the race. And of course, what better models could be used to present these garments than Luis Alberto Hernando himself, triple winner of Transvulcania, and New Zealander Ruth Croft, winner of the last edition of the race.

All these garments feature Climacool fabrics that help manage perspiration with materials that wick away moisture quickly. Its quick-drying fibres provide a pleasant sensation of freshness. And more than 70% of the fibres are made from recycled polyester.

Apart from the adidas TERREX products, the participants will receive several products from La Palma in collaboration with the project Saborea La Palma of the public company Sodepal, so that they can discover the rich gastronomy of the island.

It should be noted that we are in the final stages of the Ultramarathon and Vertical Kilometre races, so all those who are undecided are encouraged to complete their registration as soon as possible in order to get a place.

President Sergio Rodríguez stresses that the Cabildo de La Palma has shown a firm commitment to Transvulcania, betting on its growth and consolidation as a sporting event of reference worldwide. ‘This commitment is reflected in various actions, such as financial and logistical support, the promotion of the event through marketing campaigns and collaboration with renowned sponsors,’ he adds.

Rodríguez stresses that the main objective ‘is to promote the image of La Palma as an ideal destination for outdoor sports, taking advantage of its attractive volcanic landscapes and demanding trails’ and points out that the runner’s bag ‘is an example of the importance that each and every one of the participants of the respective modalities has for the organisation, fundamental to make the race one of the most important in the world’.
