The Transvulcania adidas TERREX will have an Official Hotel Network for the first time

The hotels Meliá La Palma, H10 Taburiente Playa and La Palma Princess join forces for the fifteenth anniversary of the event.

The Transvulcania adidas TERREX creates synergies, also with the tourism sector of the island, by creating for the first time, the Network of Official Hotels of the event. This unprecedented alliance was created with the aim of getting the island’s tourism sector to join the event and thus contribute to the external promotion of the island around the event.

Moreover, this commitment to local businesses is a boost for the economic development of La Palma, generating employment and reinforcing the importance of Transvulcania as a key economic engine for the island.

With this unprecedented union, the hotels H10 Taburiente Playa, located in Los Cancajos, La Palma Princess, located in Fuencaliente, and Meliá La Palma, located in Puerto de Naos, will host the large contingent of elite and popular runners of the event, as well as the specialised media, who will arrive from the five continents to cover its most special edition, the fifteenth anniversary.

This agreement widens the range of options for the runners participating in the race, who will be able to choose which official hotel they want to stay in depending on their interests or planning, depending on whether they prefer to be closer to the start, the airport or the finish line of the race in question.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, highlights that ‘the Transvulcania is much more than a sporting event; it is an opportunity to position La Palma on the international map, attract quality tourism and strengthen our economy. The creation of this Official Hotels Network is one more step in our commitment to the sustainable economic development of the island’.
