In addition to hosting the delivery of Transvulcania bibs adidas TERREX Sport Experience is deployed as the first Insular Sports Fair of La Palma.
The first day of activity around the Transvulcania adidas TERREX revealed one of the best kept secrets of the fifteenth edition of the race of the Isla Bonita, its Runner’s Fair integrated within Sport Experience, the first Insular Sports Fair of La Palma.
Located in an area of more than 4,000 square meters dedicated exclusively to sport, Sport Experience has more than 50 stands made up of companies and sporting events and also has its own gastronomic area in addition to hosting the delivery of bibs for all Transvulcania adidas TERREX modalities including the Transvulcania Kids-Junior Spar La Palma.
Sport Experience will become the exclusive meeting point for sports on the island of La Palma and will also have a special Adidas TERREX stand that will organize various events where its most emblematic runners such as Luis Alberto Hernando, Pablo Villa, Daniel Osanz or Ruth Croft will be present.
Sport Experience celebrated its inauguration today with the president of the Cabildo Insular de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, who pointed out that this innovative activity “gives us the opportunity to experience the sport in first person with many activities, talks, interactive meetings or sports advice in a place where there is also an important gastronomic offer and that will be the nerve center where the runners of Transvulcania adidas TERREX will collect the bibs of the different modalities”.
From today until Saturday, May 10, Sport Experience will become an open-air macro mall dedicated to sports and will feature activities such as functional training classes, children’s craft and recycling workshops, group training, Pilates training, judo and rhythmic gymnastics exhibitions, lectures and interactive experiences.
The Transvulcania adidas TERREX is organised by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Department of Tourism and Promotur with its brand ‘Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida’, as well as the companies 226ERS, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred. Olsen Express, Cicar, Spar La Palma, Coca-Cola, Libbys and Isola.
