CICAR is strengthening its partnership with Transvulcania adidas 2026 and reinforcing its support for sport and tourism on La Palma

The organisers of Transvulcania adidas 2026 and CICAR have reached an agreement to renew their sponsorship deal, under which the leading car hire company in the Canary Islands will once again play a key role in the logistical organisation and international promotion of the event.

This strategic partnership reaffirms CICAR’s commitment to promoting major sporting events that put La Palma on the global map, thereby contributing directly to the island’s economic and tourism growth. The adidas Transvulcania, regarded as one of the world’s most iconic mountain races, provides a unique showcase for the region and its organisational capabilities.

Under this agreement, CICAR will provide the organisation with a large fleet of vehicles to meet the event’s operational needs. This service will facilitate the transport of security personnel, technical teams, the press and members of the organising committee, ensuring efficient logistics within the highly complex environment of the race route.

The company will also step up its operations during the race, increasing the number of vehicles available on the island to meet the rise in demand. Participants, support staff, the media and visitors will thus benefit from a service tailored to the exceptional volume of travel generated by the Transvulcania.

This extra effort demonstrates CICAR’s commitment to the success of the event and to enhancing the overall experience for all attendees, helping to ensure that their stay on La Palma lives up to the standards of a leading international sporting event.
