Transvulcania adidas Terrex kicks off its 15th anniversary with more than 80% of registered participants

Transvulcania adidas Terrex, which will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year, is off to a strong start with a large number of registrations. More than 80% of the 3,000 available bibs are already sold out, which reflects the great interest generated by the race both among popular and elite runners from all over the world.

Among the most demanded modalities, the Marathon and the Half Marathon are almost sold out, with only about 100 bibs available in each one. Registrations are expected to close in the next few days. The Ultramarathon follows a similar trend, with over 300 bibs available, and is also expected to reach its quota in the coming weeks. The Vertical Kilometre is also experiencing a fast pace of registration.

After a spectacular edition in 2024, in which five race records were broken, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most special editions of the race, not only in sporting terms, but also because of the excellent response from the public. The race has recovered its organisational essence, returning to its origins and once again counting on the support of a main sponsor of international stature, adidas TERREX.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, said that ‘the Institution continues to work hard so that each new edition of the race helps to recover the international relevance it has always had, as well as encouraging the citizens to continue to identify with the race as something of their own’.

For her part, the CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, assures that ‘we are working tirelessly to make this 15th edition unforgettable. Transvulcania is one of the key commitments of our public company, an engine for generating economy and employment and attracting visitors to the island’.

Finally, the Sports Councillor, Yurguen Hernández, explains that ‘this year we have opened registrations earlier than in previous editions and the overall volume of registrations is progressing at an impressive pace, almost simultaneously selling out the three main modalities’.
