Transvulcania adidas TERREX hangs the ‘full’ sign for the first time since 2019

The iconic mountain race reaches maximum capacity for its 2025 edition, reflecting the recovery of interest in the event and its international impact with runners from 50 different nationalities.

The Transvulcania adidas TERREX has sold out all its places for its 2025 edition, marking a significant milestone as it is the first time since 2019 that La Palma’s flagship event has reached full capacity of 3,000 participants. The expectation generated by the return of the event with its original essence has driven a record demand for registrations, consolidating its recovery of prestige as one of the most emblematic mountain races at international level.

The competition, which will be held from 8 to 10 May, has received a massive response from elite and popular runners from the five continents, eager to challenge the iconic volcanic landscapes of the island. The recovery of the traditional routes, going hand in hand with an international sponsor such as adidas TERREX and the commitment of the organisation to improve the experience of the participants have been key factors in this success.

With all the places sold out for its competitive modalities, the organisation will now focus its efforts on guaranteeing a first class experience for runners and spectators. It is expected that the 2025 edition will not only equal, but exceed the impact of the previous edition, consolidating once again the Transvulcania adidas TERREX as a world reference in ultra-distance races.

The president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Sergio Rodríguez, highlights that the race continues its resurgence process, meaning this achievement means the recovery of the race, attracting runners from all over the world and consolidating its position as one of the most prestigious trail running races at an international level.

The Transvulcania adidas TERREX is organised by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through Promotur with the brand ‘Islas Canarias’, as well as the companies 226ERS, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred. Olsen Express, Cicar, Spar La Palma, Coca-Cola, Libbys and Isola.
