Transvulcania adidas is once again sparking a trail running craze: more than 2,000 registrants in less than 24 hours

Everything points to the event breaking a new record by selling out all 3,200 available tickets in a matter of hours.

Transvulcania adidas continues to break records. The race organizers are delighted with the extraordinary response from athletes following the official opening of registration for the 2027 edition, scheduled for May 8 of next year on the island of La Palma. In just twenty-four hours, more than 2,000 runners have already secured their race numbers, filling more than sixty percent of the 3,200 available spots.

This spectacular pace of registrations confirms the excellent health of the adidas Transvulcania—organized by the Cabildo de La Palma through SODEPAL—and underscores the strong momentum currently enjoyed by one of the most iconic mountain races on the international scene. The upcoming edition will once again bring together thousands of amateur athletes passionate about trail running, who feel a deep connection to the event, alongside a strong contingent of international elite runners. For all these reasons, it is already shaping up to be one of the largest and most anticipated editions in the race’s recent history.

The sporting and organizational success of recent editions, combined with the unique charm of the local people who cheer on the athletes, has once again made the adidas Transvulcania one of the major highlights of the calendar for athletes from around the world.

The organizers encourage all runners who are still considering participating not to delay in registering if they don’t want to miss out on a unique experience: exploring the trails and volcanoes of La Palma, enjoying incomparable scenery, and feeling the warmth and passion with which the island’s residents welcome participants each year.

Everything points to Transvulcania making history once again and potentially setting a new record: selling out faster than ever before. The countdown has already begun for an edition that promises to thrill the trail running world once more
