Transvulcania adidas 2026 strengthens its partnership with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, a long-time sponsor of the event

The organizers of Transvulcania adidas have formalized a sponsorship agreement with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for the 2026 edition of the iconic trail running event, thereby strengthening a partnership that has existed since the event’s inception and reflecting the company’s strong commitment to sports and the island of La Palma.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has been a partner of Transvulcania adidas since its very first edition, demonstrating its loyalty and a clear commitment to supporting the development of sports on the island. Its involvement has been instrumental in the event’s evolution, helping to enhance the experience for both athletes and spectators.

Through its support of the adidas Transvulcania 2026, Coca-Cola reaffirms its commitment to the Canary Islands in a particularly significant year, as it celebrates its 70th anniversary of presence in the archipelago. Through its support of major sporting events such as Transvulcania, as well as cultural and social events, the company actively contributes to revitalizing the region, promoting values such as hard work, perseverance, and unity. Transvulcania adidas, considered one of the most prominent trail running events on the global calendar, brings together thousands of runners and fans every year who find in La Palma a unique setting for practicing their sport.

Yurguen Hernández, the Sports Councilor for the La Palma Island Council, emphasized that “having the support of an organization like Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, which has been involved since the inception of the Transvulcania adidas, ensures the event’s stability and competitiveness. Their commitment underscores the importance and international reach this event has achieved.”

For her part, Miriam Perestelo, the Regional Minister for Economic Development, emphasized that “partnerships like this strengthen La Palma’s position as a sports tourism destination and, as a result, have a positive impact on the local economy. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ loyalty is an example of public-private collaboration that adds value to the island.”

The adidas Transvulcania is organized by the Island Council of La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Department of Tourism and Promotur with its brand “Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida,” as well as the companies adidas, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred.
