Palmeros clubs and Transvulcania adidas Terrex hand in hand for the 15th anniversary of the race

The organization of the race met with representatives of the teams of the island, who showed suggestions and their willingness to collaborate actively in different logistical tasks of the event.

The Transvulcania adidas Terrex held a meeting with a prominent representation of trail clubs of the island. The objective of this meeting was to actively listen to suggestions and proposals for improvements for the preparation of the next edition of the event, to be held in May.

The setting chosen was the Benahoarita Archaeological Museum, which served as a means for organizers and the organizational team to exchange proposals with the aim of making Transvulcania bigger. In addition to resolving the doubts raised, some novelties were also announced for an edition that is expected to be very special, as it is the fifteenth anniversary of the event.

In the meeting, which was attended by the CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo; the Councilor for Sports, Yurguen Hernández, and the Mayor of Los Llanos de Aridane, Javier Llamas, the clubs also showed their willingness to collaborate in the various logistical tasks associated with a first class and highly complex event like this, such as preparation of the runner’s bag, volunteering for supplies, broom tasks end of race, among others, without whose collaboration an event of this caliber could not be carried out.

The CEO of Sodepal, Miriam Perestelo, stressed the fundamental importance of the involvement of athletes and clubs of the island in the organization and development of the event. Their commitment, effort and collaboration have been key to strengthen its identity and guarantee its continuity. Thanks to their active participation, this event continues to grow and consolidate as a sports reference.

For his part, the Councilor for Sports, Yurguen Hernández, emphasizes the role played by the Palmeros clubs in security tasks during the development of the different disciplines, allowing closer collaboration with the participants, since no one better than another athlete can understand the needs at every moment of the event.
