The Mexican band’s historical songs will be played for athletes and visitors on May 9 starting at 10:00 p.m.
The 2026 adidas Transvulcania will wrap up its sporting events with a big festive concert in Plaza de España in Los Llanos de Aridane, the race’s traditional finish line. The performance will be led by Chamán, the official Maná tribute band in Europe, which will put on a live show starting at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9.
Chamán will pay tribute to one of the most iconic Latin pop-rock bands with a journey through Maná’s greatest hits that captures the essence and power of their live performances. The band, considered a European leader in this genre, will bring to the audience the songs that have left their mark on several generations, maintaining the energy, sound, and intimacy characteristic of the Mexican group.
A celebration to mark the athletes’ arrival at the finish line
The concert is intended to serve as a festive finale to an intense event featuring nearly 3,000 athletes. In addition, several thousand people are expected to attend the event to celebrate the athletes’ efforts and enjoy the unique atmosphere at the finish line in Los Llanos de Aridane as night falls.
Plaza de España, the historic heart of the town, will thus become a major hub where sports and music converge—an open, free event designed to celebrate the efforts of those who complete the race and to bring the adidas Transvulcania closer to the general public and visitors to the island during the weekend of the event.
The adidas Transvulcania is organized by the Island Council of La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Department of Tourism and Promotur with its brand “Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida,” as well as the companies adidas, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred. Olsen Express, Cicar, Spar La Palma, Coca-Cola, Libbys, Isola, and Nutrinovex.
