Estela Guerra finishes as the best Canarian in the female category.
The Palmeros and Canarian athletes competed at a very good level in the Vertical Climb that inaugurated the competitive program of the Transvulcania adidas TERREX 2025. In this fifteenth edition of the race of the Isla Bonita, the local athletes showed that they continue to take steps in the right direction to be star protagonists of the race in the not too distant future.
Aythami Brito, among the boys, and Moana Lilly Kehres, among the girls, were the best Palmeros in this edition, with Brito repeating his good performance of last year and Kehres staying very close to the podium positions.
Brito finished as the first Palmero and also the first Canary Islander with a time of 57:33. Among the best Palmeros the second classified was Aleksandr Kirzhaev (1h.01:20), 23 seconds ahead of Santiago Dorta.
Moana Lilly Kehres, on the other hand, stopped the clock in 1h.05:01 with Yennifer Camacho in second place (1h.18:56) and completing the podium Idoia Pérez (1h.22:07).
Brito was also the best Canary Islander ahead of Arezki Habibi (58:25) and Rayco Hernández (1h.01:12) with Estela Guerra being the best Canary Islander classified (1h.04:55) ahead of Moana Lilly Kehres herself and also Yenifer Camacho, second and third.
The Transvulcania adidas TERREX is organised by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Department of Tourism and Promotur with its brand ‘Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida’, as well as the companies 226ERS, Hotel H10 Taburiente Playa, Hotel La Palma Princess, Hotel Meliá La Palma, Fred.
