The Vertical Climb inaugurates the competition in the Transvulcania adidas Terrex 2024

The action starts in the Transvulcania adidas Terrex 2024 and it does so, as has been the tradition, with the start of the Vertical Climb, an always spectacular race, which will take place tomorrow (May 9th) from 17.00 hours.

Starting at the Puerto de Tazacorte and finishing at the Torre de El Time, the Transvulcania adidas Terrex Vertical Climb will kick off the competition, as pure as it is tough, in La Palma, with its usual route of 7.26 kilometres in length and 1,203 metres of positive height gain.

This year’s list of participants includes quite a few specialists in this explosive sport and even winners of previous editions and some local runners who are aiming for the top of the podium.
The zigzagging trail that starts from sea level in Puerto de Tazacorte and reaches the Torre de El Time, usually with a sharp time change from starting to finish, will bring together numerous fans who will see in action Daniel Osanz, winner in 2019 or Pascal Egli, who took the victory in 2018, but also international athletes such as Omi Ryonosuke, Tomas Macecek or Damien Humbert.
