The organizers of the adidas Transvulcania have opened registration for exhibitors at the second edition of Sport Experience, the island’s sports fair, which will once again be one of the event’s main highlights in 2026 and will be held at Plaza Juan Pablo II in Los Llanos de Aridane.
The venue will not only host the bib distribution for all events of the 16th edition of Transvulcania, but will also serve as the essential meeting place for runners, brands, and sports enthusiasts. The expo will be open to the public from Wednesday, May 6, through Friday, May 8 (both dates included).
Sport Experience is a premier platform for economic and social revitalization, featuring more than 40 spaces available for booths, which can now be booked through the official Transvulcania adidas website. The venue will bring together sports retailers, specialty brands, industry companies, a vibrant food court, sports exhibitions, engaging activities, and experiences for people of all ages.
In addition, it will be a mandatory stop for the more than 3,100 runners registered for the 2026 edition, as well as for their companions and the thousands of visitors who come each year to experience the unique atmosphere of Transvulcania.
Sergio Rodríguez, president of the La Palma Island Council, highlights the importance of this initiative, noting that “Sport Experience reinforces the role of a revitalized Transvulcania as a driving force for the island and an international showcase, creating opportunities for the local business community and offering a comprehensive experience for both participants and visitors. This renewed vitality of Transvulcania is evident in how quickly the spots filled up and in the announcement of a waiting list that is longer than ever.”
For his part, Sports Minister Yurguen Hernández emphasizes that “the fair represents a qualitative leap in how we view major sporting events, bringing together sports, leisure, gastronomy, and commercial activity in a single venue, which has a direct impact on revitalizing the island and promoting La Palma as an active destination.”
In this regard, Sodepal CEO Miriam Perestelo invites companies to participate in this “internationally renowned” trade show, given the large number of representatives from different countries who attend this sporting event. “This trade show offers an opportunity to reach an audience that companies don’t typically encounter in their day-to-day operations.”
With this second edition, Sport Experience takes a step forward in establishing itself as the leading trade show for trail running in the Canary Islands, offering companies a unique opportunity to reach a highly targeted audience passionate about sports and nature.
Transvulcania adidas is organized by the Excmo.
