The organization is expanding its network of official hotels to offer exclusive rates and services tailored to the needs of the thousands of runners who will visit the island in May.
Transvulcania adidas 2026 continues to strengthen the foundations of its upcoming edition. With the aim of offering a top-quality experience and simplifying logistics for participants, the organizing committee announced today the expansion of its Official Hotel Network, a key partnership with the leading accommodation providers on the Isla Bonita.
Following the success of last year’s event, this strategic partnership aims to ensure that runners and their companions not only have a place to stay overnight, but also access to facilities that meet the specific needs of high-performance athletes: tailored nutrition, optimized rest periods, and proximity to key points along the race route.
For this 16th anniversary, which will once again place La Palma at the epicenter of the global trail running scene, agreements have been reached with establishments located in key areas of the island, such as the H10 Taburiente Playa (Los Cancajos, Breña Baja) – Eastern Zone; La Palma Princess (Fuencaliente) – Southern Zone; and Meliá La Palma (Puerto de Naos, Los Llanos de Aridane) – Western Zone.
These hotels will accommodate the bulk of the contingent of elite runners, amateur athletes, and specialized media representatives arriving from all five continents, ensuring that the influx of visitors and the economic benefits of the event are distributed equitably throughout the island.
Sergio Rodríguez, president of the La Palma Island Council, emphasized that “this partnership with the hospitality sector is essential for Transvulcania to remain the best showcase for our island. We’re not just promoting sports; we’re promoting hospitality and a professional infrastructure capable of hosting world-class events.”
For her part, Miriam Perestelo, the Regional Minister for Economic Development and CEO of Sodepal, noted that “the goal is for visitors to feel well taken care of from the moment they arrive on the island. Thanks to the digitization of the Hotel Network, registered users can now access exclusive discount codes directly on the official website, simplifying their trip and ensuring competitive prices.”
Runners can now view the complete list of participating establishments and obtain their discount codes on the event’s official website: www.transvulcania.com. These codes are for registered participants only and must be redeemed directly on the official hotels’ booking websites.
Transvulcania adidas 2026 is organized by the Island Council of La Palma through the public company SODEPAL, with the support of the Government of the Canary Islands (Canary Islands Tourism – Latitud de Vida), as well as sponsorship from leading companies such as adidas, Fred. Olsen Express, Cicar, Spar La Palma, Coca-Cola, Libbys, Isola, and Nutrinovex.
