This incredible event represents the ultimate test of endurance and determination, and we are excited to partner with TRV to make it even more spectacular for the ultra-running community.\u201d <strong>said Carla Murphy, SVP\/Global General Manager, adidas TERREX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sergio Rodr\u00edguez, President of Cabildo de La Palma said,<\/strong> &#8220;By adding a partner such as adidas TERREX, we know that the race will recover the essence of what makes it so special and different to any other trail race. The route starts at the Faro de Fuencaliente lighthouse and continues along the \u201cGran Recorrido\u201d trail GR 131, also known as \u2018Ruta del Bast\u00f3n\u2019, to Puerto de Tazacorte. From there, it connects with the GR 130, Camino Real de la Costa, to the finish line, located in the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a \u2013 Los Llanos de Aridane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transvulcania is undoubtedly one of the toughest trail running races in the world, with a distance of 73.06 kilometres and 4,350 metres of cumulative positive altitude gain and 4,057 metres of cumulative negative altitude gain.
