However, when her parents decided it was time to arrange her marriage, she begged to be allowed to study first. So Budha gave up an arranged marriage with the goal, first, of fulfilling her promise as a student, but deep down she wanted to become a professional runner. At just 25 years of age, the Nepalese runner has already made a name for herself among the great international trail runners and is coming to Transvulcania for the first time to try to continue to make a name for herself with the firm objective of being the fastest over the longest distance of the event.
