The La Palma Island Council promotes sustainability by planting native species in their natural habitat, allowing them to thrive while preserving our landscape and biodiversity and reducing our carbon footprint.<\/p>\n

The Regional Minister of the Environment, M\u00f3nica G\u00f3mez, took part in this event, which was part of the activities organized for the adidas Transvulcania and was held at the Refugio del Pilar.<\/p>\n

M\u00f3nica G\u00f3mez points out that \u201cinitiatives like this provide significant benefits for local ecosystems and soil. Planting these native species in their natural habitat helps combat soil erosion and improve soil fertility,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
