INSURANCE FOR TRANSVULCANIA 2013

Participants, resident in Spain: licensed members of a sport federation

Licensed members of a sport federation who have registered at Transvulcania must renew their license which must fullfill the following requirements:

  • It must be a license of a mountain federation, covering physical injuries or damages caused when practising a sport on the mountain (any other license of any other sport will not be acceptable)
  • It must cover physical injuries or damages during mountain races over 2426 meters above sea level. Important: Spanish participants, except for residents in the Canary islands, must be holders of the FEDME license in order to be fully covered when taking part at a race  which is not held in their “comunidad autónoma”. Spanish participants who are resident in the Canary Islands have got two possibilities: either to be holder of the FEDME license or any other Canary one, modality C. Such a license must be obtained before April, 19th

We remind you that you must present such a licence when collecting your race number.

Participants, resident in Spain: non-licensed members of a sport federation
